Marlboro NJ Christmas Events – Festive Extravaganza: Winter Holiday Lighting and Letter-Writing Magic

As winter blankets Marlboro Township in a shimmering layer of snow, the community eagerly anticipates the annual Winter Holiday Lighting event. This cherished tradition, hosted by Mayor Hornik and special guests, promises an enchanting evening of festive delights on Wednesday, December 6, from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the Town Hall.

One of the highlights of the evening is the creation of a living masterpiece – the Human Snow Globe. Marvel at the magical scene as participants step inside a giant snow globe, creating a winter wonderland captured in time. It’s a perfect photo opportunity for families and friends to share the joy of the season.

Adding to the festivities is the New & Unwrapped Toy Drive Kick Off. Embrace the spirit of giving by contributing to this meaningful cause and making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate during the holiday season.

No holiday event would be complete without a visit from the man in the red suit himself. Santa Claus, along with his merry entourage, will be available for enchanting Photo Ops. Capture the moment and create lasting memories as you share your wishes and laughter with Santa and his festive companions.

But the holiday magic doesn’t stop there. Holiday elves have been hard at work installing a special North Pole Mailbox outside the Marlboro Recreation Center at 1996 Recreation Way. From November 18th, children are invited to drop off their Letters to Santa, ensuring their wishes and dreams reach the North Pole in time for Christmas. Santa, in turn, promises to respond to all letters received by December 11th.

To ensure Santa has all the information he needs, letters should include the child’s first and last name, age, and grade. For an extra touch of holiday cheer, Santa particularly enjoys letters adorned with hand-drawn holiday pictures. Parents are encouraged to review the letters before depositing them in the North Pole Mailbox, located conveniently outside the Marlboro Recreation Center.

For those who wish to receive a personal response from Santa, simply place the letter and a self-addressed stamped envelope inside the North Pole Mailbox. It’s a delightful way to create a magical connection between the children of Marlboro and the jolly old man at the North Pole.

As Marlboro Township comes alive with twinkling lights, joyful music, and the spirit of giving, the Winter Holiday Lighting event promises to be a heartwarming celebration for the whole community. Join in the festivities and make this holiday season truly magical in Marlboro.
