Sunday Routine for Children
As parents, there are many times we feel disorganized. So, anything that can help with the organization of our lives is always welcome! As the weekend comes to an end, it’s time for children to start preparing for the school week ahead. With a few simple steps, kids can make sure they’re ready to tackle the new week so there is no crazy rushing on Monday morning. If you are a parent, you know how crazy Monday mornings can get.
Here are some things children can do on Sunday to get ready for the school week:
- Have your kids get their clothes for the week ready. Have them pick out 5 outfits (for Monday-Friday) including undies & socks. Fold the shirt and the pants in half long ways then lay them on top of each other. Lay the undies and socks on top of that then roll the entire outfit up. Buy a hanging shoe organizer like this one :Whitmor Hanging Shoe Shelves – 8 Section – Closet Organizer – Grey https://a.co/d/61A1GVG. Then have your kids put one outfit in each slot. Wala! They know what they will ware each day of the week!
- If your kids bring snacks to school, have them choose all 5 and put them in a ziplock back. Be sure to put the Monday snack in their backpack.
- Fill up their water bottles for Monday and put them in the fridge.
- Organize their backpack and school supplies: Children can take some time on Sunday to make sure their backpack is clean and organized, and that they have all the supplies they need for the upcoming week. This can include pens, pencils, notebooks, and textbooks.
By setting a Sunday Routine for Children and taking these simple steps, children can start the school week feeling organized, prepared, and ready to learn. It’s a great way to set a positive tone for the week ahead and ensure that they’re making the most of their time in school.
